Catelli S.r.l. ("we", "us", "our") develops and operates the Tastoni Launcher mobile application ("the App"). This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who decides to use our service.

Tastoni Launcher is an application designed to simplify smartphone accessibility, making them easier to use for the elderly or people with visual/motor difficulties. The privacy of our users is our absolute priority.

2. Information Collection and Use

To provide a secure and personalized experience, the App requires certain system permissions. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or profiling purposes. The data processed by the App remains and is processed exclusively locally on your device.

Specifically, the App requests and uses the following permissions for the indicated features:

Contacts and Call Log (READ_CONTACTS, READ_CALL_LOG, WRITE_CALL_LOG, READ_PHONE_STATE): The App accesses the phonebook and call log exclusively to display favorite contacts on the main screen, allow the user to make quick calls, and clearly display missed call notifications. Phonebook and call data are in no way stored or uploaded outside the device.
Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION): The geolocation permission is used exclusively for two essential features within the App:
1. SOS / Emergency Function: When the user voluntarily triggers the SOS alarm, the App retrieves the current GPS coordinates to include them in the distress message sent to chosen contacts.
2. Local Weather: The App uses the location to download and display the current weather conditions of the user's area directly on the home screen.
Location data is processed solely to provide these services, is not tracked in the background for statistical purposes, and is never shared with advertising networks or third parties.
SMS and Call Management: The SOS feature can send SMS messages and initiate phone calls to the user's pre-set emergency contacts. This occurs only and exclusively following the voluntary activation of the SOS button by the user.
Notification Reading (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE): The App requires access to notifications to display enlarged and simplified alerts on the main screen (e.g., to signal incoming messages or missed calls). Notification content is processed locally in real-time and is not transmitted or saved externally.
List of Installed Apps (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): As an alternative system launcher, the App needs to know the list of applications installed on the device to display them in the simplified app drawer and allow the user to launch them correctly.

3. Security

We value your trust in granting us access to these system features. We use technologically and commercially acceptable means to protect the integrity of the device. Remember that no sensitive data is stored on remote external servers, drastically minimizing the risks associated with cybersecurity and data theft.
